The journey
The full sweep of three countries
Three weeks to travel Vietnam top to bottom, cross into the temple heartland of Cambodia, and finish among the monasteries of Luang Prabang. It is the grand traverse of Indochina, moving from northern deltas to southern rivers, from sandstone kings to river towns, at a pace that leaves room to linger. Like every journey we make, it's a starting point: tell us what moves you, and we'll shape it around your family, your pace and your budget.

Day by day
The route in detail
Days 1–3
Hanoi
Ease into the capital's Old Quarter, sip egg coffee by Hoan Kiem Lake, tour the Temple of Literature and catch a water-puppet show before the bay beckons.
Days 4–5
Ha Long Bay
Board a private junk to sail among thousands of limestone islands, kayaking into hidden lagoons and dining on the deck beneath the karst-shadowed stars.
Days 6–8
Hoi An
Fly south to the lantern-hung old port, cycling rice paddies, learning to roll fresh rice paper in a cooking class and being fitted for tailor-made silk.
Days 9–11
Ho Chi Minh City & the Mekong Delta
Feel the pulse of Saigon, crawl the Cu Chi tunnels, then slow into the delta's floating markets, coconut-candy workshops and palm-fringed sampan channels.
Days 12–15
Siem Reap & Angkor
Cross into Cambodia for the great temples: sunrise over Angkor Wat, the strangler figs of Ta Prohm, the Bayon's serene faces and a countryside cycle.
Days 16–17
Phnom Penh
Travel to the riverside capital for its Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda, and the moving history of Tuol Sleng, balanced by a lively evening on the quay.
Days 18–21
Luang Prabang
Fly to Laos for a gentle finale: the dawn alms procession, hilltop Wat Phousi at sunset, the Pak Ou caves and a last afternoon in the Kuang Si pools.
