The route in detail

Day 1

Arrival in Bali & Ubud Culinary Journey

Arrive at Ngurah Rai International Airport in Denpasar and be greeted by your guide for the transfer to your hotel in Ubud. Check in and freshen up before setting off around 17:30 on a culinary journey through Ubud, beginning with a sunset over Sayan Valley. At The Sayan House, sip a cocktail and enjoy Japanese-Latin fusion tapas as the cicadas begin to sing. As the evening continues, drive to Ubud centre for a typical Asian dinner at a restaurant surrounded by Ubud's serene nature, before continuing to another local venue for dessert with a cocktail or wine. Round off the night at a next-door speakeasy bar, or head back to the hotel. Overnight in Ubud.
Day 2

Campuhan Ridge & Ubud's Royal Palace

Spend the morning discovering Ubud's charms with a gentle walk along the famous Campuhan Ridge, taking in some of the region's most gorgeous hillside views. At the end of the path, visit the Blanco Renaissance Museum, the former home and studio of Antonio Blanco, arguably Bali's most celebrated resident artist. Continue to Warung Ibu Rus, a traditional warung just steps from Ubud Palace, for a taste of typical Balinese food within a Balinese house compound. After lunch, view Ubud's 16th-century Royal Palace, still home to the royal family today, and browse the famous market just across the street. Relax with a 60-minute Balinese massage and organic facial or body scrub, then dress up for dinner at Kokokan Restaurant, with uninterrupted views over rice paddy fields and a refined menu of Asian dishes. Overnight in Ubud.
Day 3

Balinese Cooking Class & Jatiluwih Rice Terraces

Depart after breakfast for Marga Village in Tabanan for a Balinese cooking class. Be welcomed into a typical Balinese house, where a local chef explains the island's ingredients and traditional cooking equipment before guiding you through the class. Sit down afterwards to enjoy the meal you've cooked yourself. Continue to Bali's UNESCO-listed Jatiluwih, offering the island's widest panoramic view of its iconic rice terraces and known as the rice granary of Bali. Take a leisurely hour-long walk through the fields, then visit the Royal Taman Ayun Temple in Mengwi, known for its multi-roofed structures and its beautiful setting around a fish pond. Return to Ubud in the late afternoon. Overnight in Ubud.
Day 4

Temples, Coffee & Fine Dining

Visit Pura Gunung Kawi, an 11th-century temple in Tampaksiring accessible only by a series of staircases, arriving to admire ten shrines carved directly into a cliff face. Continue to Pura Tirta Empul, a popular water temple, to learn about the role of water in Balinese Hindu culture and take a soak in its cool, spring-fed pools. Visit a coffee plantation in Tegalalang for a short tour through the fields, pausing for a fresh cup of coffee or tea with a light snack and valley views, before lunch at a restaurant overlooking the Tjampuhan ridge. In the afternoon, meet a trained barista at a coffee studio to learn expert brewing techniques, choosing from espresso, latte art or professional coffee-tasting courses. In the evening, dine at The Aperitif, one of Ubud's best fine-dining restaurants, opening with a European-style pre-dinner drink and canapes before a degustation journey through modern global cuisine. Overnight in Ubud.
Day 5

Uluwatu Temple & Jimbaran Fine Dining

Enjoy the morning at leisure before checking out and heading south. Stop for lunch at a local restaurant known for its healthy, organic and creative cuisine, then check in to your hotel in Southern Bali Beaches with free time before the afternoon tour. Visit Uluwatu, one of Bali's most impressive temples, perched dramatically on a clifftop, and watch a kecak dance performance as the sun sets. Finish the day at CUCA Restaurant in Jimbaran, a leafy coconut-grove setting for a chef's tasting menu created by Chef Kevin Cherkas, featuring tapas, desserts and CUCA's own house-made digestives. Overnight in Southern Bali Beaches.
Day 6

Seminyak Food Crawl

Enjoy the morning at leisure and some time on the beach. Around 16:00, join a local guide for a Seminyak food tour along the main strip and the hip Petitenget area, long a favourite for dining and nightlife in Bali. As the sun sets, ride a Vintage Vespa to a stylish rooftop bar for a cocktail and magnificent views, then continue to a chic eatery blending contemporary international and traditional Indonesian flavours for a healthy starter platter. Continue the crawl to a wooden Javanese Joglo house for a main course of Nasi Campur, tapas-style Indonesian dishes served around a rice pyramid, before finishing at a beachfront spot for dessert paired with wine or Moscato. Overnight in Southern Bali Beaches.
Day 7
