The journey
Five days in Siem Reap, pairing yoga, Pilates, meditation and spa rituals with Angkor's temples and a candlelit private dinner.
This escape slows Siem Reap down to a wellness pace. Mornings bring yoga, Pilates, meditation and sound healing, while a nutritionist and two spa treatments round out the restorative side of the trip. In between, the temples of Angkor unfold at a relaxed pace, Ta Prohm's tangled roots, Bayon's carved faces, and Angkor Wat by vintage Mercedes, before a sunset gondola cruise on Angkor Thom's moat and a final candlelit dinner at a private villa surrounded by rice paddies.

The route in detail
Day 1
Arrival Siem Reap
Arrive into Siem Reap Angkor International Airport, where an English-speaking guide will be waiting to welcome you and transfer you to your hotel, around an hour away. Settle in, then ease into the trip with a relaxing one-hour massage, the perfect introduction to the days ahead. Afterward, sit down with a nutritionist for a conversation about your wellness goals, with the option to have meals planned around them for the rest of your stay. Overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 2
Sunrise Yoga and Angkor Temples
Rise early for a sixty-minute yoga class with a yoga master, ideally timed to catch the sunrise, season depending. After breakfast, set off by remork for a first look at the Angkor complex, beginning at Ta Prohm, built in honour of King Jayavarman VII's mother and best known for the trees and vines that have grown over its walls since the fall of the Angkorian Empire. Continue into Angkor Thom, the last capital city of the Khmer Empire, to visit Bayon at its centre, built by Jayavarman VII himself. Find a quiet spot to take in its fifty-two towers, each carved with four faces looking out toward the cardinal directions. In the afternoon, visit Satcha, a local enterprise giving Cambodian craftsmen and women a safe space to work and train as artistic entrepreneurs, with the chance to browse their work in the gardens. Return to the hotel for a luxurious 120-minute couple's ritual at the spa. Overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 3
Pilates, Tonle Sap and Angkor Wat
Start the day with a sixty-minute Pilates class, then head to Tonle Sap Lake and the floating village of Chong Kneas, boarding a private wooden boat for a canal journey to the lake for a first-hand look at life among its floating houses. In the afternoon, travel by vintage 1960s Mercedes to Angkor Wat, following in the footsteps of visitors like Jacqueline Kennedy, who toured the temple in 1967. The temple's famously intricate carved galleries sit within covered, open-air corridors, offering some shelter from the afternoon heat. As the sun begins to set, board a private gondola paddle boat for a relaxing cruise on the moat of Angkor Thom, with champagne, canapes and views over Prasat Chrung temple as the light fades. Overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 4
Village Life and a Private Dinner
Spend the morning in Ta Brak village, busiest in the early hours, exploring colourful market displays of vegetables and herbs alongside the morning shoppers and chatting with locals along the way. Visit a Khmer smokehouse to learn how fish is traditionally smoked, over a glass of fresh coconut juice with the family who run it, before taking part in a Buddhist blessing ceremony, receiving wishes of good luck from local monks. In the afternoon, take an hour to unwind with a guided meditation session, connecting body, mind and spirit. In the late afternoon, transfer to a private villa just west of Angkor Thom for your final evening, strolling the terraces or finding a quiet spot among the spice gardens for a cocktail before a candlelit dinner surrounded by rice paddies, well away from the crowds. Overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 5
Sound Healing and Departure
After breakfast, close out the trip with an hour of sound healing before checking out and transferring to Siem Reap Angkor International Airport for your onward flight.
