The White Lotus Trail: Thailand

Welcome to Thailand. On arrival at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport, a representative will fast-track you through immigration, assist with luggage and introduce your local guide, before a private luxury vehicle transfer to the Mandarin Oriental Bangkok, right on the Chao Phraya River. Transfer to Phuket's Old Town, where a leader of the Old Town Phuket Community will introduce the island's history through its architecture, from former Chinese schools repurposed into museums to Sino-Portuguese buildings from the 19th-century tin mining era, plus the former governor's residence. Sample traditional local foods, including southern-style tea, along the way. Lunch is at China Inn Café and Restaurant, with live traditional Chinese music. Continue to Wat Chalong Monastery, a centre of Buddhism built during the reign of King Rama V, then drive along the coast to the viewpoint at Promthep Cape, a location featured in several filming scenes. This evening, dine at PRU, Phuket's only Michelin Star and Michelin Green Star restaurant, showcasing the best local ingredients under a community-to-fork concept. After breakfast, check out and transfer to Phuket Airport for a direct flight to Koh Samui. Transfer to the pier to board a VIP speedboat to Angthong National Marine Park. After breakfast, check out and transfer to Samui Airport for your flight to Bangkok, arriving at the Mandarin Oriental Bangkok for your last night in Thailand. Spend the day and evening as you please: browse the Chatuchak Weekend Market if your visit falls on a weekend, take a tuk-tuk to the nightlife of Khao San Road or the Asiatique Riverfront Night Market, or head to Sing Sing Theatre, a boutique club featured in the series with international and local acts.
