Komodo Liveaboard Experience is a journey through one of Indonesia's most spectacular marine parks aboard Samara, a 27-metre luxury phinisi yacht. Hike and swim at Kelor Island, snorkel amid vibrant coral reefs at Pink Rock, and watch thousands of flying foxes take to the sky at sunset over Kalong Island. Climb to the iconic viewpoint atop Padar Island at sunrise, relax on the pink sands of Pink Beach, and trek with a ranger to see wild Komodo dragons in their natural habitat. Snorkel with graceful manta rays at Taka Makassar and Manta Point, and spend the final morning in the water at Sebayur, before returning to Labuan Bajo.

The route in detail
Day 1
Arrival in Labuan Bajo & Kalong Island Sunset
Arrive at Komodo International Airport, where a local representative will be waiting for the transfer to Labuan Bajo port. Meet the crew and board Samara Phinisi, with welcome drinks and snacks served during check-in. Once settled, set off to explore the Labuan Bajo area's hot spots, starting with Kelor Island for a short hike or a relaxing swim, followed by lunch onboard. Continue to Manjarite for marine exploration, then to Pink Rock for snorkeling and paddleboarding amid vibrant coral reefs. As the day winds down, watch the sunset at Kalong Island, where thousands of flying foxes take to the sky. Enjoy dinner onboard while cruising towards Padar Island. Overnight aboard Samara Phinisi.
Day 2
Padar Island, Komodo Dragons & Manta Point
Start the day early with a sunrise hike at Padar Island, taking in its iconic panoramic views, before returning to the boat for breakfast. Continue to Pink Beach for time to relax or snorkel in its crystal-clear waters. Visit Komodo Island for a ranger-guided trek to see the legendary Komodo dragons in their natural habitat. After lunch onboard, continue to Taka Makassar and Manta Point for a chance to snorkel alongside graceful manta rays. The day concludes with a crossing to Sebayur Besar for the night. Overnight aboard Samara Phinisi.
Day 3
Sebayur & Return to Labuan Bajo
After breakfast, enjoy a final morning of snorkeling at Sebayur Kecil or the more secluded Sebayur Besar, both known for their vibrant marine life. Following the last swim, begin the journey back to Labuan Bajo, marking the end of the Komodo experience. After checkout, the crew will assist with the smooth transfer to the airport in Labuan Bajo for the onward flight home.
